Our company produces high-quality restoration of the bearing seat when repairing electric motors of all types. Considering that electric motors perform the function of power units and not only impart rotational motion to the drives, but also transmit significant torques, significant radial and axial loads act on the shaft bearings. They have a pronounced dynamic character and are transmitted through the bearing to the engine housing.

After a long period of operation, the tightness of the bearing in the seat may be disrupted. This will lead to knocking, beating, and vibration, which in turn will lead to accelerated further destruction of the electric motor structure. During various types of repairs, if necessary, the shaft bearing seats are restored. Installation seats are located on bearing shields and covers.

Restoring the seat allows you to avoid more expensive replacement of a part or the unit as a whole. In many cases, restoring the seats is the only way to repair the engine. In particular, if the equipment uses a unique model of electric motor or it is out of production and it is difficult to find spare parts for it.

In the process of all types of repairs (current, major, urgent), the condition of the critical components of the unit is reviewed, including the rotation bearings on which the engine shaft rests, as well as their seats. This applies to all types of electric motors used in everyday life, in production, in public utilities, and in transport:

  • explosion-proof and explosion-proof AC and DC;
  • brushless synchronous and asynchronous three-phase;
  • high-voltage industrial;
  • asynchronous single-phase.

Restoring shaft seats

Another type of repair - restoration of the shaft seats - must be carried out if traces of rotation are detected. The shaft must be securely fastened in the inner race of the bearing. When assembling the engine, the bearing is installed on the shaft with some tension.

If this condition is not met, the shaft rotates, heats up and gradually wears out at the point of fastening. Timely restoration of the shaft seats will ensure a long period of operation of the electric motor rotor.

Restoring the bearing seat

Currently, various technologies are used to ensure the restoration of bearing seats. With their help, it is possible to return the unit to operability with minimal material costs. After repair, the restored unit is characterized by high durability and reliability.

In case of significant wear of the bearing seat or shaft, the metal surfacing method is used. After this, it is necessary to carry out additional mechanical processing of the deposited surface to obtain the specified fitting size (for a bearing or shaft).

A new restoration method has shown high efficiency - restoration of bearing seats with polymers. For this purpose, a special composition based on polyester resins is used. The polymer mixture outperforms traditional epoxy compounds. It hardens faster, does not lose its strength properties when heated and over time, and lends itself well to machining.

Frequently asked questions

The repair time depends on the type: routine repair takes 1-2 days, rewinding takes 3-7 days, and overhaul takes 7-14 days. For urgent orders we work around the clock, and most jobs are completed within 1-3 days.

Yes. We provide a written warranty for all types of work: from 6 months for routine repairs up to 12 months for overhauls and rewinding. The warranty covers factory defects and errors in the repair performed.

Yes. We repair electric motors from any manufacturer — local (AIR, 4A, DAZO) and imported (ABB, Siemens, WEG, Mitsubishi and others). We use original spare parts or high-quality analogues.

Yes, an on-site visit by a diagnostic engineer is available in Tashkent and the Tashkent region. We will assess the motor's condition, perform initial diagnostics and draw up a work plan. The cost of the visit is discussed separately.

In most cases, repair costs 2-4 times less than buying a new motor of similar power. This is especially true for motors above 7.5 kW. See our article "Rewinding or a new motor" for a detailed comparison.

After the repair you receive: a certificate of completed work, a warranty card, and a post-repair test report (insulation resistance, no-load current, RPM). All documents can be handed over to your accounting department for asset registration.
