Crane electric motors of the MTF, MTH, MTI brands, equipped with a wound rotor, and the MTKF, MTKH, MTKI brands with a squirrel-cage rotor are designed for drives with lifting mechanisms. The operation of this equipment involves short-term and intermittent operating modes with frequent starts, braking and heavy overloads. The insulation of crane electric motors must have significant resistance to heat (class B), and the units themselves must have mechanical strength.
When repairing electric motors, the following is carried out:
- diagnostics of the condition of the electric motor;
- replacement of:
- stator winding;
- lubrication;
- bearings;
- output pins, bolts and rubber gaskets.
- restoration of:
- stator iron;
- electric motor housing;
- bearings shields;
- all threaded holes;
- repair of the rotor shaft (surfacing, boring, grinding);
- production of a new shaft;
- grinding of seating surfaces;
- static and dynamic balancing of the rotors;
- hydraulic testing of all parts and components of the electric motor;
- testing with taking electrical characteristics.
