Our company's production facilities carry out rewinding and repair of electric motor windings of all types. This type of electric engine repair is one of the most common. Another common reason to rewind the winding of an electric motor (generator or transformer) is the need to change the technical operating parameters of the electric machine. For example, if it is necessary to increase the supply voltage, reduce electrical power consumption, or change the rotor speed. In such cases, we are not talking about repairs, but about modernizing the electric engine. Repair of electric motor winding

Repair of windings of electric motors or transformers is carried out, as a rule, in a specialized workshop. This requires measuring instruments, special technological equipment and, most importantly, qualified personnel. Indirect indicators for repairs are the appearance of extraneous noise during operation of the electric motor, excessive heating of the housing, loss of power, and difficulty regulating operating parameters.

Repair of electrical machine windings is carried out with copper conductors using insulating materials that are highly reliable and resistant to adverse factors. Such materials are designed for a long period of operation.

Insufficient ventilation, elevated ambient temperatures and significant loads can lead to overheating of the electric motor. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures destroys insulating materials, leading to loss of elasticity and cracking. During vibrations, the rubbing wires short out, which leads to an interturn short circuit.

It is recommended to rewind the motor winding if there are significant deviations in its operation. Repairing the windings of electric motors and generators is a more economically acceptable option.
